Neil MacDonald runs Hawthorn Timberframes, in Kimberley, B.C. Along with running his company, he has been an instructor with The College of the Rockies Timber Framing Program and Introduction to Timber Framing courses since 2007 and Natural Building instructor. Neil has an educational background in forestry, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria, and is a journeyman carpenter who has worked on timber projects all over Canada and Scotland.
